Altitude Sickness symptoms only develop when people are above an altitude of 2500 to 3000 meters. At this altitude a relative hypoxemia can occur.

Common altitude sickness symptoms include headache and mild nausea.

Other altitude sickness symptoms can include dizziness, drowsiness, seizures, double vision, shortness of breath, and dry cough.

Depression, difficulty with vision, a rapid heart rate, rapid breathing, and a low-grade fever are other altitude sickness symptoms.
