Chanchroid symptoms occur in people infected with Haemophilus ducreyi. This is a bacteria spread by sexual contact.

Chanchroid symptoms are characterized by the development of ulcerations which measure up to 5 cm. These ulcerations are generally painful and are sometimes associated with painful lymph nodes in the groin.

Chanchroid is a contagious disease, spread by sexual intercourse. Symptoms of Chanchroid occur in the genital area of both men and women.

Chanchroid symptoms should be evaluated by a physician to ensure the proper diagnosis and treatment. Other diseases that can mimic Chanchroid include genital herpes and syphilis.
