Dysentery symptoms occur when people are infected with a parasite known as Entomoeba histolytica. Dysentery symptoms include abdominal pain associated with diarrhea.
Sometimes people may have blood in their stool. Other dysentery symptoms include fever, back pain, nausea and vomiting.
