Eczema is a papulo-vesicular rash, which is often associated with severe itching. The rash associated with eczema can become weeping and painful to touch. It is characterized by scaling patches, and papules.

Sometimes symptoms of eczema can be related to a skin irritant or a contact hypersensitivity. Often, there is a history of multiple other allergies.

Other symptoms of eczema include skin redness, pruritis, and skin infection.
