Symptoms of Encephalitis is caused by an inflammation of the brain. This can occur because of viruses, such as HSV, Zoster, EBV, West Nile, and St. Louis encephalitis.


There are many other causes of encephalitis. Symptoms of encephalitis include fever, headache, stiff neck, photophobia, and mental status changes.


Sometimes the symptoms of encephalitis include fevers, weakness, and loss of consciousness.
