Leukemia symptoms can be variable from mild to severe. These differences generally are determined by the underlying leukemia.
Leukemia can result in increased infections because of poorly functioning white blood cells. Bruising can develop because of decreased platelets. Fatigue and shortness of breath can develop because of anemia.
Chronic leukemia symptoms are often different from acute leukemia symptoms.
