Menopause symptoms are characterized by the cessation of normal menstrual periods. The ovaries decreased and discontinue the production of normal estrogen. About 10% of women have no secondary menopause symptoms other than the discontinuation of the normal monthly periods. Other menopause symptoms can be characterized by hot flashes, mood changes, vaginal drying.


Other conditions associated with symptoms of menopause include urinary stress incontinence and bone loss.
