Pancreatic cancer symptoms often can be very non-specific, which is why pancreatic cancer is commonly not diagnosed until it has progressed to an advanced stage.

Weight loss (unexplained) and abdominal pain are among the most common pancreatic cancer signs and symptoms.

Patients can also develop jaundice (yellow discoloration of the skin), back pain, cachexia, and pruritis (itchiness). So called painless jaundice is a classic complaint of patients who are subsequently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
