Heart problems are common. Heart problems can develop because of decreased blood
distribution, decreased heart function, or altered heart rhythms. Some of the heart problems that
can cause congestive heart failure include valvular dysfunction, restrictive cardiomyopathy, and
volume overload. Other heart problems can include cardiac arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation
