a 48 year old woman has gone through two non-menstrual periods: two years ago she went 6 months with none, and then they returned; now she has gone 8.5 months without. She had 3 children at age 19-24, none since, and has been on the pill most of last 10 years. Is there any/much chance of her becoming pregnant from unprotected sex any longer? If so, how many continuous months would assure no pregnancy?
