Salmonella symptoms occur in people who are infected with Salmonella bacteria. Most people know that Salmonella is associated with severe diarrhea.


Other Salmonella symptoms may include fever, nausea, and vomiting. Some people can develop dehydration secondary to the excessive watery stools associated with Salmonella.


Other Salmonella symptoms may include abdominal tenderness, osteomyelitis, bone pain, or even bloody diarrhea.
