The symptoms of varicose veins (spider veins) are characterized by swollen veins of the lower extremities.

The varicose veins are often tender or pruritic. Varicose veins (spider veins) are often found in elderly people in pregnant women.

Patients can sometimes develop chronic lower extremity swelling and brown discoloration in the skin if the deep veins of the leg are involved.

Sometimes varicose veins (spider veins) can be associated with venous insufficiency and chronic ulcerations
